They have been hand crafted to their high specification by West Country Artisans who take the greatest of pride in their craft, and who lovingly build them to detailed perfection. All 5 Shepherds Lodges are positioned in the old meadow of wild flowers with lovely views down the wooded valley.

The lodges offer a generous 234 sq. ft. of space and are 26 ft. long having been designed to comfortably accommodate 2 adults in luxury. The exquisite interior of the lodges boasts designer fabrics, made-to-measure furnishings and bespoke fittings alongside a traditional wood-burning stove, relaxation area with coffee table, fully-equipped kitchen, foldaway breakfast bar, a king-size double bed, generous bathroom with double walk-in power shower. Each has its own private terrace with an outdoor wood-fired spa bath, Adirondack loungers, teak dining table and chairs with parasol, a fire pit and a double hammock.

4 of the shepherds lodges only accommodate 2 adults, with 1 luxury king bed. 1 of their Shepherds Lodges has an adjoining Mini Shepherds Hut (9 ft. x 7 ft.), with 2 sets of bunk beds providing total accommodation for 2 adults and up to 4 children (under 16 years old). 2 well behaved dogs may join in the holiday with the provision of bowls and some treats.

There is a communal games barn, ideal for the days you wish to spend relaxing on-site – perhaps reading your holiday novel with a glass of something delicious in hand, while the children play table tennis, chess or table football. Adults are allowed to join in the fun too! Set the mood for the evening, appreciate the night sky, enjoy your favourite foods cooked on the BBQ followed by toasted marshmallows over the fire pit and then sink into the warm waters of the outdoor spa bath… just perfect.

We will have an Early Swim on the Saturdays only and be open for our usual day time sessions on both days.

Remember to book in advance and we look forward to welcoming you to the pool till the end of September!

Due to the success of our Summer Solstice event, we are now going to hold another late swim on Friday 12th August from 9-10pm. Enjoy a relaxing swim in our warm pool while the sun goes down. The pool area will be gently lit by fairy lights and each swimmer will be given a coloured glow stick - creating a fun event. After the swim there will be a range of hot drinks and refreshments to buy.

Anyone who is able to donate a cake for us to sell please let us know.
Book your space on our booking system as we will have to limit our numbers for this event.
This is a Fundraising Event so we will be unable to issue refunds.
Ticket Prices will be £8/adult, £6/child & £22/family of 4

CALLING ALL LOCAL BUSINESSES!
As you may, or may not know everyone is a volunteer at the Dartmouth Outdoor Pool (except the lifeguards) & it is a real challenge keeping it open each year at it costs over £20k to run, plus wages, card charges & ad hoc repairs. To help raise some much needed funds we are looking for local sponsors for the Pool for the 2022 season.
The pool is going to open beginning of April and run through September this year, so a 6 month season rather than the 4 month season of previous years. We are just going to keep it simple and offer a Gold, Silver & Bronze.
During the 2021 season there was between 200 and 600 people booked in for sessions each week, and up to 1,200 visitors to the website each week. The Facebook Group has 1.6k members, and the Facebook Page has 600 followers, and this year we have also just set up an Instagram account.If you are able to support us then please drop us a direct message.

Contactless card payment is preferred please, unless you have the exact correct cash as no change is being held on site.
All profits made are invested back into the pool facilities.

Dartmouth Outdoor Pool is now open for the summer season, and since we've reopened we have been very busy. The next few days are forecast to be SCORCHIO so book your swim session with us by calling 07706 730947 as we cannot guarantee admission unless you pre-book. Our changing rooms are also now open, but please arrive swim ready & you can use them after your swim. Please see below our timetable for w/c 14 June 2021. The timetable may vary slightly week by week depending on whether we have had some private bookings so watch this space for up-to-date information, and we recommend that you FOLLOW US on FACEBOOK and join our FACEBOOK GROUP for the latest info.
